Anthropologie Dress Reviews

Hi Ladies! I have some Anthro Dress Reviews for your viewing pleasure. I should probably tell you that there not so much reviews, they are more just how these dresses look on me. There are other blogs out there who do a way better job of reviewing Anthropologie clothes than I do. I have to also admit I'm not the best when it comes to reviews. It's mostly just me telling you if I liked it or not and if it fits true to size. I'm hoping there is at least one woman out there who benefits from these. I know I really love seeing other reviews. I love seeing how the clothes look on other women. I get super excited when I see that a fellow blogger has posted reviews.
Alright shall we get to the reviews.

Nostalgic Asterisks Dress by Girls from Savoy $158 (Size 4)
I love this dress! I think it has the best silhouette, which will flatter all figures. I also love the color and fun pattern on the dress. My only beef with this dress is the top portion. It's not modest at all. I would have to wear a shirt underneath. I apologize for not being able to show the top of the dress. I probably should have put my shirt on underneath instead of over. It also has pockets which I love in a dress. This would be a great summer dress to wear by itself with some cute sandals. It also runs TTS. This one is on my sale wishlist.

Glanz Dress by Tabitha $158 (Size 4)
I wanted to love this dress. I've seen it reviewed by a couple of other bloggers and it looks super cute on them. However it just didn't work on me. I should probably try the size 6 on before I make my final decision about it. The dress definitely runs small. I could barely get the size 4 to zip up. It took some effort. Once I did I felt like I might suffocate. The arm holes were way to tight and uncomfortable as well. Size up on this one ladies. I did love that this dress was made out of thicker material which will make for a much sturdier dress that will not fall apart on you.

Sunny Soiree Dress by Girls from Savoy $148 (Size 4)
I've been oohing and aahing over this dress since it popped up online. I was excited to see it in my store so I could try it on. Once I had it on I was like holy cow you have a lot going on. Even looking at the pictures now it just doesn't do it for me. There is just too much going on with this dress. I think they should have left the pirate ruffle off the front. They also should have made the top out of more substantial material. The material they used was completely see thru. It ran TTS. This one is a pass for me. I might reconsider if it made second cuts.

D'armee Dress by Parameter $138 (Size 4) Navy
This dress isn't a new one, but I wanted to throw it in because I love it. I'm hoping in a big way that this one goes on sale next week. This was the first time I tried this dress on and wasn't expecting to like it so much. It was a tad on the shorter side, but I think I could pull it off with some tights. I loved the zipper down the front and the full skirt. It runs TTS. This one is coming home with me once it hits sale. If it ever does!

Pom Flower Shift by Tabitha $158 (Size 6)
This dress was amazing. I love it! I had already read on other reviews to size up on this one and they were right. The size 6 fit me like a glove. This is such a fun and unique dress. It is also made out of sturdy heavy material which is a plus for me. The only thing I don't like about this dress is the waistline. I feel like mine disappeared once I put it on. What do you think?
This is on my sale wishlist.

Tuileries Dress by Moulinette Soeurs $148 (Size 4)
I saved the best for last. First off I just noticed that it's saying online that this dress is no longer available. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the price being cheaper then it is in the store. The price tag in the store is $158. I first saw this dress on the lovely adiaphane here. It was love at first sight. Then I saw Molly from Anthromollogies post about this dress here.
That's why I went to Anthropologie last night. My soul purpose was to try this dress on. I even called the day before to put it on hold. I love it! It's amazing! I'm going to say that this dress runs a little on the big side. My normal size 4 was just a tad to big. I tried a 2 on for comparison and it fit, but overall I felt more comfortable in the 4. I couldn't resist this dress. It came home with me. Oh yeah I forgot it also has pockets.

Here is my outfit from yesterday. I picked this shirt up from Target recently and I love it! It's a great shirt that has endless styling possibilities. It's super comfy. I really like how it looks with this necklace. I hope the reviews were helpful. I'm off to cook dinner for the family.

OOTD times 2

Happy President's Day!

I have a couple of OOTD's for you. First up is my outfit from church yesterday. I should have added a belt. We were running late and I just threw this outfit together last minute. I took these pictures after church. Looking at them now, I wish I would have added a belt.

OOTD Curlytop Copycat

T.G.I.F!!!! I'm excited for the weekend. I'm hoping for a relaxing one spent with my family. We're planning on going to this tomorrow. I think the kids are going to love it. Heck, I'm going to love it. It looks like lots of fun! I wanted to share with you guys what I'm wearing today. I had a little girls night with just myself last night and so I decided to go check out Kohl's. I received and extra 30 percent off coupon and wanted to go see if I could use it towards anything. Well I hit the jackpot. I found this purple cardigan that is an exact copy of the Anthropologie Curlytop cardigan seen on me here. The only difference between this cardi and the Anthro one is the cut-outs arn't on the top of this cardigan like the Anthro one. The Anthro one has the little circle cut-outs on the top part. I couldn't find the cardigan on the website, not sure why, but I bet most stores will have it in stock. It also comes in a grey color. It is on sale right now for $35 and I got an extra 30% off. Score! I paid almost full price for my Anthro one. I used my B-day discount to buy it, so I got a little off. If you missed out on the Anthro one, now is your chance to get this cardigan that is pretty much identical for a heck of a better price. Excuse the no make-up face. It's just one of those days where I woke up and didn't feel like putting my make-up on.

I also didn't have a chance to post my OOTD from Tuesday. I took the kids to go have lunch with Daddy and to do some returns at JCPenney. While I was there I decided to check out Sephoria for some red lipstick. I've been on the hunt for a pretty red lipstick. I think I finely found it. I've been having a hard time with them being more orange then purple. I think this one definitely fits the bill. I think it looks silly and out of place with this outfit, I left it on after trying it on at the store. It's the Stila Long Wear Liquid Lip color in Fiery. I'm loving all the red lips I've been seeing everywhere lately. I've been wanting to sport some red lips for a while now just haven't been able to find a color that I like on me. I also got the Urban Decay Lip Primer Potion to keep the red from bleeding off my lips. I'm thinking I might need to get a liner. I had a hard time keeping the red from going outside my lips.

Here are some scary close-ups so you can see the color better. Please ignore the broken out face. Seriously, it should be against the laws of nature for women to get wrinkles and zits. What's up with that? Anyway, I really love the color!

I'm off to cook some dinner. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

OOTD and Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! I wanted to share my OOTD and wish everyone a Happy Lovers Day!
I don't really have anything special planned for the day. Just going to pick up my oldest from pre-school and then headed to Target to pick up my sweetie a Valentine's gift. Nothing like waiting till the last minute huh!? I'll be making a special Valentine's Day dinner tonight for my family. We're big steak eaters around here, so that's what's on the menu, a nice Ribeye steak with some potatoes and asparagus. I had a different outfit planned to wear, but decided at the last minute I wanted to wear my new Soldierly Sparkle top. I'm really happy with this top. I had never tried it on in the store and was a little nervous about the fit. I think it makes a great casual Valentine's Day top to wear for running some errands and spending time with my lovies.

My little guy wanted to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day as well!

OOTD My Favorite Dress!

Hello! Hello! I hope you're all having a fabulous Sunday! It's been a wonderful day here. We had the most amazing sun shiny weather. After church we went for a walk and basked in the sunshine glory. It was awesome! Today has been spent being spiritually feed, eating good food, enjoying outside, and being with my family. It seriously doesn't get better then that. I wanted to share my outfit from church today. This isn't the first time I've worn this dress but it's the first time I've posted me wearing it on my blog here. I'm practically wearing this dress out. I think this is the 3rd maybe 4th time I've worn this to church. I also wore it all the time in Florida for Christmas. I love this dress. It's my favorite dress right now. If I could wear it everyday I would.

Sorry for not posting anything this week. After dealing with the stomach flu for 4 days the 5th day my body decided it wanted to get a cold. Fun times! I'm feeling somewhat better today. Thank goodness it wasn't one of those killer knock you out colds. It was just enough of a cold to be annoying. Anyway, that is the reasoning for no outfit picks this week. It was comfy clothes all week for me. I'm really excited for Valentine's Day tomorrow! I have a fun copy cat outfit planned and can't wait to do some fun festive activities with the family. I would love to hear about your plans. What are you doing tomorrow for love day?

OOTY

Hi! I'm still under the weather, so I'm going to make this short. I just wanted to share what I wore to church yesterday. I was surprised I even felt good enough yesterday to make it. I guess I must have pulled the energy from somewhere. This is a nasty stomach bug. I hope it goes away soon. I can't take much more. I hope you're all having a better Monday then me.

Giveaway Winner!

Happy Saturday! I'm excited to announce the winner of my giveaway. I originally wanted to have my son Samuel draw the winner out of bowl. I know he would have loved doing it. Well those plans had to be changed in light of my sickness and the fact that Samuel is ice fishing with his Dad today. I headed over to random.org to let them pick my winner instead. I know it's not as fun as having Samuel do it, but I didn't want to put off picking a winner again.

I'm happy to announce that the winner is ModernMom. Congratulations! The random.org generator picked #6 out of 27 Comments. I tried to figure out how to put the generator on here with the number picked, but I had no idea how to do that.

Please email me at scubagirl78@hotmail.com on where to send your $40 Anthropologie Giftcard. Congratulations again and Thanks so much Ladies for being such fabulous followers!
